Different spaces. Clearly assigned responsibilities.
Walk the building with us to identify the areas to include, the tasks needed and how cleaning will fit alongside your existing custodial team.
- Classrooms & learning spaces
Define accessible surfaces, waste removal and floor care. Agree on how teaching materials, personal belongings and equipment are left undisturbed.
- Corridors & shared areas
Review entrances, corridors, offices and other agreed common spaces. Set priorities for busy routes and spaces used for after-school activities.
- Restrooms & staff areas
Document the cleaning tasks and frequency for restrooms and staff break areas. Clarify consumable responsibilities and who reports urgent issues.
Scheduling & accountability
Plan the work before the first visit.
A useful proposal addresses how the building operates, not just which surfaces need cleaning.
- The academic calendar
Plan regular service windows and discuss changes for holidays, breaks and special events.
- Access & screening
Review school-specific access, visitor, screening and student-safety requirements before agreeing a start date.
- Working with your team
Distinguish contracted tasks from the responsibilities retained by school staff or an existing custodial team.
- A written review process
Agree on inspection criteria, a school contact and the process for recording and resolving missed tasks.

Questions before you start
A clearer scope starts here.
Can the cleaning plan fit around lessons and activities?
The schedule can be planned around the school’s permitted access windows. Include after-school activities, evening use and lockup requirements in the walkthrough discussion.
Can you work alongside our existing custodial team?
We can discuss a defined supplemental scope. We’ll identify who handles each task so work is neither duplicated nor missed.
Are specialist spaces automatically included?
No. Kitchens, laboratories, specialist equipment and other restricted areas need a separate scope review. Only agreed areas and tasks belong in the cleaning program.
How are school access and screening requirements handled?
Provide your school’s requirements before service is agreed. We’ll review them with you and confirm whether we can meet them before agreeing on a start date.
Can we include holiday or periodic floor work?
Raise periodic needs during the walkthrough. Availability, methods, timing and pricing should be confirmed separately from the regular cleaning schedule.
Let’s review your school’s cleaning needs.
Share your location, building size and preferred service window. A walkthrough helps define the spaces, responsibilities and site requirements before a proposal is agreed.
